Then, a face abruptly appeared in the window. At first, she felt a wave of relief, but that soon died. The man stared cooly back at her, observing her in a detached, almost alien, way. She pleaded with him to help her, but he merely stared, face inscrutable. Quickly, he pulled the blinds on his side of the glass and he was gone. Jizzabelle was shocked, fear like ice water washing over her, then the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end. Spinning around, she saw that the man was in the room with her.
