A girl, tied to a chair, a rope leading up, over obstacles and down–attached to the hair trigger of a pistol aimed right at her chest. It looks pretty precarious for her. But…the reality is, it’s all an elaborate show. This grifter couple have decided to con her own wealthy parents. The plan: make it look like a kidnapping. Make it look like she is in eminate danger. So now, with the clock ticking, he tells her it will be ok and heads to get the money. She patiencly waits for her rescue–staring at the unloaded gun pointed at her. But, no one comes for her but her partner. There was no money at the dropsite. Her parents did not care about her it would seem. She asked to be untied and he oblidged. Distruaght, he is not very careful, and failing to check the chamber when he mounted the gun earlier, it fires–hitting her in the chest. A grifter life never ends good, and for the 6 months she was with him, she had seen so much–lived life to the fullest.

Now she looks down at the small hole in her chest. Her mouth–it runs down her shirt along side the other stream. She is in shock, shaking, twitching. He comes to her aid, but he does not know what do so. He is so sorry, but he is clueless. He rips her shirt open, sees the hole in her flesh, but still, he can only try and comfort her. After a while, he unties her, then moves her quivering body to the couch. He watches her as she twtiches in pain and shock. Then, she starts asking him to call help. Now, see, this is where it gets ugly. He has been grifting for years now. He works “off the grid”. How would he explain this. He couldn’t. He gets the gun and says his goodbyes. She tensed and tries to get him to stop. But he coldly fired his gun onto her forhead. A red hole appears with just a trickle. She is still. Dead. He leans down and touches her for the last time. Then, he grabs his stuff and leaves.
