Review: Director Paul Sleton able to make one very important thing: I watched the movie, never look away from the screen. The film captures you completely, and you have nothing to do but watch it to the very last frame. Camera work deserves special attention.

To say that the idea is original, then lie. The plot is quite battered and ordinary. But its development throughout the film is fascinating and even a little shocking. The cast is pretty mediocre, with the exception of the main character. He wants to say a special thank you. His character fails to show the atmosphere of the film, its tensions.

Review: Here you go, folks, Daisuke Yamanouchi’s (Red Room, Blood Sisters) infamous Muzan-E with subtitles (as far as I know, for the first time) and sourced from Japanese DVD! The film itself, if you don’t know it, has quite the reputation as being an extremely fucked up movie. I’m not sure if I’m just jaded, but I really don’t think it’s that bad. There’s a few icky scenes, but nothing too horrific. It’s all very cheesy and played with a sense of humour. There is a lot of menstrual blood though… I guess the subs and decent print kind of take away some of the gross-out power found in the subless and filthy VHS rip. It’s not the fucked up movie it’s supposed to be, but I still enjoyed it thoroughly – even more so now that there’s subtitles.

Sleazy, grimy, hard-to-find gore movie from the bloody heartland of the far east! In Daisuke Yamanouchi’s hard-to-find classic, a reporter (who obviously has no common sense) making a documentary on the more grotesque depths of the Japanese direct to video industry decides to look into a supposed snuff production company. Is she getting into trouble? What do you think!?! Definitely a talky movie for a gore film, so it’s too bad that there aren’t any subtitles. Unearthed Films mentioned on their page for the longest time that they would release it on DVD, so maybe we’ll have more luck whenever they get around to it. In the mean time, it’s not like you’ll really have to stretch your imagination to figure out what’s going on. Nasty from beginning to end, with rape, murder, brutality, and a whole lot of menstruation (which is apparently like the motherfucking red tide in Japan) this is well worth your 65 minutes

Review: I didn’t even know this one existed from Teraz. I almost feel guilty when I download their stuff cause I think they are one of the best producer’s of 10th rate sleaze out there. But since I own 3 of their way overpriced dvds… I feel a little better 🙂 Seriously tho, pricing yourself right out of the market you’re aimed at isn’t really a good idea. It’s not high art, most of their stuff is basically softcore “murder porn”. Steer way clear of their hardcore, that shit is really bad haha. And I don’t mean bad good. I just mean bad.

Description: For all you nunsploitation lovers out there, here is an upgrade to the classic Nikkatsu Roman Porno film “Dan Oniroku: Convent Rope Hell”. There is no need to write a synopsis here because the following screenshots say it all. In Japanese, with Chinese subs. It’s subbed but that doesn’t detract from the viewing experience. Also the rip is slightly undersized for a 60 minute movie but the quality is definatley watchable and good enough to be shared. Reminds alot of School of the Holy Beast and Wet & Rope.
