The men were brothers, Aaron Scramton and his younger sibling, Donald Scramton, who went on a killing spree that claimed the lives of 8 women over a period of 5 months.They were finally apprehended, ending their campaign of rape and murder, but beginning a court case that sensationalized their savage escapades and shocked a nation. Even more horrifying that the string of dead bodies left in their wake, were the videos the brothers took of the murders themselves. Donald aways held the camera, while Aaron would gleefully beat and strangle the women, and then rape their corpses while they were still warm and supple. This is one of those tapes, entered into evidence as exhibit 1.123.45-G, documenting the murder of the Corelander sisters. Statements from the detectives who views these tapes called them “gut wrenching” and “sickening”, and the images of gruesome violence contained therein earned Aaron Scramton a death by lethal injection and his brother, Donald, a life sentence in the Fishkill Correctional Facility.
