It is Halloween Night and Dakota is at home alone handing out candy to trick or treaters. After sending another group away, her doorbell rings. However, when she opens the door she does not find a group of kids standing there, she finds a grown man clad entirely in black with a skull mask. The man says nothing. When she asks if he has any kids, he ignores her and simply holds out his hand. She gives him a candy bar, which he accepts but does not leave. She closes her door and is mildly freaked out. Before Dakota can sit back down, the doorbell rings again. She goes to the door and is puzzled when she sees nobody is there. She shuts the door and is startled when the doorbell suddenly rings again! Terrified, Dakota decides to lock up her door. She isn’t going to give that creep the opportunity to get inside the house.
As she backs away from the door she notices a pile of candy wrappers on the counter. Who could possibly have put them there? Suddenly, she feels an arm wrap around her and the sharp pain of a knife entering her spine! The man holds her upright as her legs give out, unable to function. She gasps for air as he undoes her costume and lets it drop to the floor. The man gently lowers her down to the carpet, letting her suffer on the floor a while. The man then targets his bloodied knife against the middle of her sternum. Her eyes go wide as he raises the knife up above his head and brings it down, crushing the knife deep into her chest! The wind is completely knocked out of Dakota, she gasps and gurgles as blood wells up in her throat, finally erupting out of her mouth before she breathes her last. Finally, the man softly places the candy bar on her chest before leaving her corpse on the floor. It wasn’t his favorite candy
