A flash of anger washes over him, Scarlett’s irresponsibility costing him a long planned photo shoot and the money it would bring. Then, an idea comes to him. This may be the best photo shoot ever. Removing the ball gag from her mouth, he carries her to the middle of the room. Posing her in a variety of ways, even going so far as to mold her face into an array of expressions.

From angry to thoughtful to silly, the photographer is in complete control of the model, her face and her body and uses that to the full extent, capturing every inch of her young, exposed body. When he is done, unsure as to how to leave her, he decides to return everything as he found it. Replacing the ball gag and the white shirt that she wore, he finally recognizes the odor that has hung in the air. So pervasive and familiar that it nagged at the back of his brain persistently. Alcohol! Scarlett was so into the latest and most elite of the party substances that he had utterly discounted such a lowly intoxicant, but she reeked of it. That was another aspect of this new party drug, if it is overused, along with alcohol, the effects can be permanent. Looking closer at the immobilized, young starlet, he notices an eyelid quiver, as liquid wells up and overflows, becoming a tear that rolls down her cheek. Suddenly, he understands. Scarlett has been conscious the whole time, her mind desperate to cry out, but trapped in a useless body. He had never considered them close, but to see her this way broke his heart. Her life was over and to be left like this, locked into a prison of flesh, doomed to live out existence as a coma patient, felt like a living hell. As an act of mercy, he breaks the young girl’s neck, letting her body fall to the floor. Taking one last photo of her naked and ball gagged corpse, he walks away to mourn.

Then what would I do to pass the time?” His intel had said that no one was home, that it would be a simple “snatch & grab”, that the man they were investigating had taken his family on a trip. The eldest daughter remaining behind was an unexpected bonus. Oblivious to her father’s more unscrupulous enterprises, she certainly didn’t expect the man. Completely surprised by his attack, she is pummeled to unconsciousness in seconds. Finding a pair of scissors, he cuts the girl’s clothes to shreds, revealing her fresh, youthful body, her most private parts on display. Binding her hands and feet with rope, he cruelly flicks her sensitive nipple to wake her up. Bruised, bound and naked, the frightened girl weeps as she see the threatening man loom over her and begs him not to hurt her. He begins to interrogate her, his voice cool and even, but with enough of a menacing edge to make the frail captive nearly wet herself. Even so, she resists at first, but he was hoping she’d do that. It’s no fun when they simply crack right away. He pulls out a taser, holding it up for her to see the bright arc of voltage, hear the electric crackle, smell the ozone in the air as he activated the electroshock device. The first lie she tells to him is also the last, the man delivering a series of excruciating jolts, making her body shake and double up in pain.

Once he has wrung all the information he needs out of her, he produces an elegant, wire garrote from his pocket and pulls it around her neck. As he tightens the lethal device, choking her, they begin an intimate dance that he is all too familiar with. He’s always considered this part to be a form of magic, a brutal ritual that transforms a human life into a piece of meat. She writhes and fights with all her might, even freeing her wrists and ankles from the rope drawn tight around them, but he is focused, determined, as worshipful as an ancient hunter thanking the deer that he has felled. Reverential for the life he takes, despite the savage manner of his sacrifice. Young and in the prime of her life, she takes a long time to die, every ounce of her lithe body fighting for her life, but her end is a foregone conclusion. Her desperate clawing and kicking becoming feeble flailing and then merely twitches and fasciculations, as the neurons in her motor system start to shut down. Her eyes, once pretty and bright, turn dull and roll up into her head, her tongue lolling from a slack mouth. The man is no noob and has come prepared for all aspects of the job. Laying out a large, plastic sheet, he rolls her body into the middle of it and wraps her like a morbid Christmas present. Perhaps his employers will have him kill off the other family members, one by one, demonstrating to their target that he can’t even protect his loved ones, let alone himself. Dragging the girl’s body out to his car, he smiles, grateful for the chance to snuff out this one, little life, trying not to be greedy in hoping for more.
