Antonys ghost comes to her, and they renew their love, having sex together and re-living the vows and passions they shared. Then Cleopatra takes the dagger and puts it to her own throat, ready to die. Antonys ghost cuts her throat, welcoming her spirit as it joins his. With pride, dignity and the joy of becoming fire and air, Cleopatra bleeds out from her slashed throat and dies. The curtain descends on one of the greatest love stories in history
