Her digging has led her to another lead, a man named J who is supposed to have some more info. He arrives at her door and she is stunned to see the man who assaulted her in the old house! She quickly tries to punch him, but he grabs her wrist and gives her a stiff left to the chin, stunned she slumps backwards onto the bed. He pulls her up fully onto the bed and removes her boots. She starts to awaken and tries to push him off of her but the head injury still has her woozy. She slumps to the floor and he once again places her on the bed before leaving the room. Daphne awakens ready to take him on again with her kickboxing. She removes her socks and flexes her feet, getting ready for the fight. After several minutes, she gets in her fighting stance and heads out after him, making it only several steps into the hallway before being hit with the black jack again. She slumps down in the corner, the last thing she hears is his explanation of the whole disappearance….
